In "the human centipede" if their kneecaps are cut doesnt it hurt when they crawl?

In the movie although they cannot stand , doesnt it hurt if they lean
on their kneecaps or when they crawl ??
Yes I know its a movie , but even if it wasnt wouldnt it hurt ??
